Village of Eze
Visit the quaint village of Eze and explore the passageways of a medieval village that is well-preserved. Parking is located at the base of the hill and is easier if you go earlier in the morning. Be prepared to walk uphill to enter the city and wear shoes that have good grip for hilly cobblestone. For our older guests (you know who you are!) you may also want to bring your walking stick.

Eze is also very romantic at night. In fact, it was at the top of our list for a wedding location. We enjoyed an evening at Hotel Chateau La Chevre d’Or, which is a five-star hotel with a bar that overlooks the ocean. If you book way in advance, you could also dine in the restaurant which has a two star Michelin designation. But there are so many amazing places to eat in the Cote d’Azure, so you would not miss out if you skip it. Another hotel with patio view to die for is Chateau Eze. Lunch or grab a cocktail while you enjoy the expansive views.
Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild
Located on Cap Ferrat and overlooking the Mediterranean, the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild is a magnificent palace surrounded by nine themed gardens with timed fountains. Indoors you may tour the residence and go to the tea room for refreshments after your tour. A must-visit site to see for sure.

Old Town Nice
Vieux Nice is the city’s vibrant old town, with narrow cobblestone streets and pastel-hued buildings where shops sell Niçoise soaps and Provençal textiles, plus meats and cheeses. A daily market on pedestrian street Cours Saleya offers produce and flowers, and busy pubs and outdoor eateries serving specialties like socca crepes dot the area. Leafy, hilltop Parc de la Colline du Château has grand city and sea views.
